Infected belly button piercing?
Okay so i got my belly button pierced about 2 weeks ago. After having it pierced for about a week i reallllllllly wanted to change the jewelry. (I know im not supposed to change it for 4-6 months blah blah. Dont say something obvious like that. I ALREADY KNOW) But anyway, i was so tempted to change the jewelry. I got some A&D Ointment, put it all over the piercing to make it slippery. I put some disposable rubber gloves on. And i decided to push the new jewelry through while taking the other jewelry out at the same time making sure i didn't lose connection.. That didnt go so well. I had it half way through and i lost connection. I couldn't push the new jewelry any farther so i just slid the first jewelry back through the hole with some complication. It got kinda stuck and it hurt but i managed. Ugh, such a stupid thing to do. So now im stuck with the plain, boring jewelry i was pierced with. About a day after that attempt to change the jewelry i started noticing alot of redness around the piercing (more than before), the piercing was swollen too, and it had crust forming around the jewelry (which i had not seen before).. A week after that (hence Today), it is still like that and it hurts alot when it gets caught on my clothes or when i touch it (which i rarely touch it). Do you think it's infected? Sorry for the long explanation and rambling. Any advice is good advice as long as it isn't ignorant. Thanks (:
