Girls and Ladies, which type of compliments would you prefer?

So I'm wondering do girls and women tend to like small nice compliments like "You have a nice shirt on" or "Your hair is very nice" OR do you prefer little more into it compliments such as " You are very beautiful" or "You look lovely ( or divine but i didn't want to say)". Let me know which would you prefer from a guy. Would you like something unique about you or a compliment that you haven't really heard? Many answers please :)?
