Disposable camera's, good or bad?

My daughter is going to camp, and she wants to take pictures there. But they said to bring a cheap camera in case it gets ruined. Would a disposable camera work well, or should I get one of the reusable one's and risk it? I already got this one camera but the screen wouldn't work (it was the one you re-use) and we returned it. Disposable cameras, good or bad, give your opinion.
